it's my first ever poem where i forgot some meaning in a break halfway
i'll never tear the bandage off
the skin that was softened from its moment of rest
senses the drops fall and pulses its beg
for the water to stop, for the brain to command
to switch off the faucet through the soldier, the hand
now the brain, as a general, shuts off its mercy
it must remain diligent, it must remain strong
"you must learn to harden," the brain tells the skin,
and silently waits 'til the message is gone.
